Entrance Exams
Content Exams
The Comprehensive Achievement Profiles (CAP) are nationally standardized exams that measure a student's comprehension in Nursing Process, Client Needs, Critical Thinking and Content Topics. The CAPs test knowledge of basic concepts for each of the core nursing courses. Scores are nationally-normed. Exams are formulated using the most widely used textbooks and follow the NCLEX® blueprint. Remediation is customized and included as part of the diagnostic report giving the student immediate resources for areas of concern.
Exit Exams
ERI exit examinations are comprehensive in scope and depth. The exams are diagnostic for content strengths and weaknesses, reflecting the test plan of the actual licensure examination. The PreRN focuses on clinical content. The RN Assessment, written at application level, is predictive of licensure success. The RNCAT, a computer adaptive examination, provides the student with a simulation of the licensure test environment.
