Educational Resources, Inc. provides standardized testing, content remediation and licensure examination review for undergraduate Health Occupations education as well as Continuing Education (CE) credits for the licensed clinician. ERI is the innovator of the Total Testing® concept, which began in 1997. We offer a wide range of testing for students from the Nurse Entrance Test (NET), Health Occupations Basic Entrance Test (HOBET), Higher Education Learning Profile (HELP) to Comprehensive Achievement Profile (CAP) to RN and LPN Assessment, all of which can be used for evaluating outcomes. ERI is the only company to offer three formats of testing: paper and pencil, Local Area Network (LAN) software and WEB.
Over 40% of US Nursing programs use the Nurse Entrance Test. ERI focuses on specific content exams (CAP) that evaluate the theory and clinical concepts needed for the student to function as a health care professional as well as successful performance on Licensure Examination. Educational remediation materials are also included to help the student assimilate course content, specific critical thinking skills necessary to answer application level questions and with strategies to help the student to utilize their knowledge to make accurate judgments in practice. Delivery of content enrichment is available continuously via streaming online audio and video lectures.
The Total Testing® Care Plan includes remediation and online enrichment activities, supporting positive outcomes. Critical Pathways are available to assist tracking of student progress. Critical Pathways are learning contracts that should be treated like any other course outcome criteria. ERI recommends that you contract with a student to take ownership of his or her learning. This should be used in conjunction with other expectations of your educational integrity policy.
ERI is a provider of Continuing Education (CE) credits through regional seminars and our online Educate the Educator series. The Birth Educators Special Training (BEST) and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) courses are designed for Obstetric Nurses seeking additional certification.
