The Nurse Entrance Test (NET) was developed by Educational Resources, Inc. (ERI) to assist schools of nursing in the guidance and placement of applicants seeking to become student nurses or in related health occupations curriculum.
The NET assesses (1) essential math skills, (2) science reading comprehension and (3) written expression (grammar). The questions provided with this entrance test assess the knowledge of subjects studied in high school, while other questions are concerned with application of knowledge in everyday living. These three important sections generate your final NET Score. This composite score will then be provided to the nursing school that you are seeking to gain admission.
To register for the NET you may schedule online or by contacting the Customer Service Center at
(913) 239-2658 during business hours
. Scheduling an appointment to test at a Pearson Professional Center will be allowed ONLY after completing this registration process. For further information, consult the Registration Information Center.
